Dr Olatunji emphasised that the MoU formalises the partnership between the NDPC and DKIPPI to promote awareness, enhance compliance, and strengthen privacy protection in Nigeria, among other objectives.
Mr Smith affirmed that DKIPPI is committed to supporting the Commission and is prepared to do even more than it has in the past. Given that data protection and privacy requires significant attention globally, he reiterated DKIPPI’s commitment to making a greater impact in the data protection and privacy ecosystem.
