The National Commissioner/CEO of the Nigeria Data Protection Commission, Dr Vincent Olatunji, is participating in the ongoing ID4Africa Summit themed “Digital Identity at Scale: Prioritising Use, Accelerating Impact,” currently taking place in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.

The ID4Africa Annual General Meeting (AGM) is the premier conference and expo focused on addressing Africa’s Identity for Development (ID4D) priorities. It brings together a diverse network of key stakeholders, primarily African government officials, development agencies, industry innovators, and civil society organisations, among others.

Discussions on data protection and privacy are a major component of the annual event, which aims to strengthen the digital identity ecosystem, particularly across Africa.
