The National Commissioner/CEO of the Nigeria Data Protection Commission (NDPC), Dr Vincent Olatunji, received a delegation from Huawei Nigeria, led by its Board Director, Mr Jim Zhang.
The purpose of the visit was to felicitate with the Commission following the successful hosting of the Network of African Data Protection Authorities (NADPA) Conference and Annual General Meeting. Mr Zhang expressed Huawei’s pleasure at partnering in the event, and congratulated Dr Olatunji and the entire NDPC team on the remarkable achievement.
Dr Olatunji appreciated the Huawei delegation, attributing the success of the conference to strong partnerships with stakeholders across both the public and private sectors — Huawei being a key partner.
The meeting also provided an opportunity to explore additional areas of collaboration between the Commission and Huawei.
