The National Commissioner/CEO of the Nigeria Data Protection Commission (NDPC), Dr Vincent Olatunji, was represented by the Commission’s Lagos Liaison Officer, Ms Omoikhefe Ahimie, at the ISACA Lagos Chapter 30th Anniversary Celebration in Lagos.

A major highlight of the celebration was the presentation of the Industry Leader Regulator Recognition Award to the NDPC. Ms Ahimie received the award on behalf of the Commission from the Global CEO of ISACA, Mr Erik Prusch, in recognition of the NDPC’s distinguished regulatory leadership and commitment to strengthening trust, resilience, good governance and professional standards within the industry.

Delivering a goodwill message at the event, Ms Ahimie congratulated the Lagos Chapter of ISACA on its 30-year milestone and commended its leadership, members and professional partners for their contributions to the Chapter’s growth and success. She also acknowledged the importance of the partnership between the NDPC and ISACA in promoting professionalism, trust and good governance within Nigeria’s digital ecosystem.

Ms Ahimie also presented the Contributor to Chapter Knowledge Development Awards to Prof. Zechariah Akinpelu, Dr Harrison Nnaji, Dr Ronke Agoro, Dr Adedoyin Talabi, and Mr Abumere Igboa.
