NDPC and TikTok Join Forces at National Summit to Tackle Algorithmic Risks to Nigerian Youth

The second panel session at the National Data Privacy Summit, with the topic, “Children, Youth and Digital Futures: Safeguarding Privacy in an Algorithmic World,” was moderated by the Head of Innovation at Floliz Nigeria Limited, Mr Daniel Uba.

The panellists in the session were the Head of the Legal, Enforcement and Regulation Department at the NDPC, Barrister Babatunde Bamigboye; the Acting Head of Government Relations and Public Policy for Sub-Saharan Africa at TikTok, Tokunbo Ibrahim; the Country Representative of BEB Global, Yonpan Dariem; and the Vice-President of the Data Privacy Club at Nile University, Esther Jato.
