To commemorate the 2025 International Customer Service Week, the Nigeria Data Protection Commission (NDPC) organised a workshop for its staff members.
The National Commissioner and CEO of the NDPC, Dr Vincent Olatunji, delivered the keynote address at the event, welcoming all staff and emphasising that effective service delivery remains central to the Commission’s mandate as a government agency. He noted that the theme for this year’s celebration, “Mission Possible,” aligns perfectly with the Commission’s efforts to fulfill its responsibilities despite limited resources.
Dr Olatunji highlighted that the Commission, as a public institution, constantly engages with stakeholders across both the public and private sectors. He therefore encouraged staff to stay informed about the Commission’s activities, as this would enhance service delivery and strengthen the NDPC’s public image. He further urged staff to continue contributing to the Commission’s growth, adding value to its work while positioning themselves to benefit from opportunities within the data protection ecosystem.
Activities during the event included presentations on the theme, a quiz competition, and recognition of outstanding service-oriented individuals and departments, among others.
